5.2 Öneriler

Mevcut doktora tez çalışması Asphodeline taksonlarının antioksidan aktiviteleriyle ilgili olarak ilk literatür verileri olma özelliği taşımaktadır ve bu noktada önemli bir boşluğu doldurmuştur. Bu durum, tez çalışmasını oldukça özgün kılmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile Asphodeline taksonlarının halk hekimliğinde kullanımlarının bilimsel bir temele dayandırılması sağlanmıştır. Elde edilen tüm sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde,

Asphodeline taksonlarının farklı kısımlarından farklı çözücülerle elde edilen özütlerin in vitro şartlarda etkin antioksidan özelliklere sahip oldukları görülmektedir. Bu şekilde bu

tez çalışması ile Asphodeline taksonlarının antioksidan özellikleri konusunda ümit vaat edici sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Yeni ilaçlar ile fonksiyonel gıdaların geliştirilmesi noktasında güvenilir ve doğal antioksidan kaynaklarının belirlenmesine ihtiyaç duyan farmasotik ve gıda endüstrisine yeni hammadde temini oldukça önem arz eden bir konudur.

Bu bağlamda, Asphodeline taksonlarının antioksidan aktiviteleri yukarıda belirtilen endüstriler için hammadde kaynağı olarak bu taksonların kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir. Bu sayede serbest radikallerin meydana getirdiği hasarları etkisiz hale getirmek için yeni formulasyonların yapılması sağlanacaktır. Ancak, Asphodeline taksonlarının fitokimyasal bileşenlerinin belirlenmesi, potansiyel aktiviteye sahip olan yapıların ortaya çıkarılması, aktif maddelerin izolasyonun yapılması, bu maddeler arasında sinerjik veya antogonistik etkilerin varlığının araştırılması ve hayvan modelleri üzerinde toksik etkilerinin araştırılması gerekmektedir. Bu sayede gen merkezi ülkemiz olan Asphodeline cinsinin yayılış gösteren taksonlarının daha detaylı ve çok yönlü araştırılması sonucunda toplum sağlığı açısından faydalı ve ülke ekonomisine maddi olarak da yarar sağlayacak ürünler geliştirilebilecektir. Bu bağlamda yapılan tez çalışması Asphodeline taksonları üzerine yapılacak yeni çalışmalara bir başlangıç noktası oluşturacak ve bu çalışmalara yeni ufuklar açacaktır.
