Research interests

Architectural conservation, Waqf built heritage, Waqf’s traditional building upkeep and maintenance systems, Waqf’s role in the formation of the built environments in Islamic cities, British colonial era conservation philosophies and knowledge transfers to the colonised lands, colonial and post-colonial heritage politics and their impact on the preservation of Islamic heritage.
