Biyografi Biyografi

Prof.Dr. Ali Rıza ÖZKAYA, Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi Kimya Öğretmenliği Bölümünden 1984 yılında mezun oldu ve 1985 yılında aynı bölümde araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladı. 1986 ve 1990 yıllarında Marmara Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Kimya Yüksek Lisans ve Doktora Programlarından mezun oldu. Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesinde 1985-1992 arasında Araştırma Görevlisi, 1992-1998 yılları arasında Yardımcı Doçent ve 1998-2001 yılları arasında da Doçent olarak görev yaptı. 2001 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Kimya

Bölümünde çalışmaya başladı ve 2005 yılında Fizikokimya Anabilim Dalı Profesör kadrosuna atandı ve halen bu görevine devam etmektedir. Görev yapmakta olduğu bölümde 2001-2009 yılları arasında Kimya Bölüm Başkan Yardımcılığı ve 2012-2015 yılları arasında da Bölüm Başkanlığı görevinde bulunmuştur. 2013 yılından bu yana da Fizikokimya Anabilim Dalı Başkanlığı ve Fizikokimya Program Başkanlığı görevini yürütmektedir. 2012 yılında kurucusu olduğu ve TÜBİTAK ve Marmara Üniversitesi BAPKO destekli projelerle geliştirdiği Marmara Üniversitesi Elektrokimya Araştırma Laboratuarında; Ftalosiyanin bileşiklerinin elektrokimyası, elektrokataliz, elektrokromizm, elektrokimyasal sensörler, elektrokimyasal enerji dönüşümü ve depolanması ve elektrokimyasal pil/batarya sistemleri devam eden araştırma konuları arasındadır. Uluslararası Bilimsel Atıf İndeksi SCI kapsamındaki dergilerde yayınlanmış 110'un üzerinde makalesi ile 2600'ün üzerinde atıf alan Prof.Dr. Ali Rıza ÖZKAYA, 32 H-indeksine sahip olup, söz konusu çalışmaları nedeniyle 2012 yılında TÜBİTAK tarafından önerilmek suretiyle Türkiye Bilimler Akademisi (TÜBA) asli üyeliğine seçilmiştir.
