Reliability of Sources

Depending on your assignment or the scope or type of your project, you will be asked to find some texts or documents related to your assignment/project.

Now the internet is full of sources: e-books, online books, articles, academic articles, newspaper articles, news, personal and professional websites, blogs, vlogs, social media posting, etc. However, not all the available sources are reliable. Please make sure that the sources you use are reliable.

How can you ensure that your source is reliable? There is not an easy answer for this question. Using academic websites or trustworthy search engines might help. Using articles from academic journals is the safest way to choose normally but even among so-called academic journals there are commercial journals who publish in return for money. I told you, there is not an easy way to ensure the reliability of the sources.

Avoid personal blogs as a general rule but blogs of universities can be safely used.
