of the course unit The course Principle of Economics -Macroeconomic Theory and Applications aims to ground the student with the fundamentals of macroeconomics. The course aims at introducing students to the basic principles and analytical frameworks of macroeconomics. Emphasis will be on developing skills and analytical frameworks for understanding contemporary macroeconomic issues.

 Students will understand basic macroeconomic term, concepts and methodology and use them to analyze the determination of important

macroeconomic variables, including income level, employment, inflation and interest rates and other macro parameters.

 Explaın the model of aggrtegate demand and aggregate supply

 Students will be able to assess the likelihood that various policy options would improve economic growth and efficiency.

 Explain different ways of computing the general movement in prices, and define the relationship between inflation and unemploymentStudents will be able to apply economic reasoning to better understand real world policy issues (using fiscal and

monetary policy options), such as unemployment, inflation and international trade.
