PhD THESIS Mustafa MIZRAK

UNIVERSITY OF DICLE

INSTITUTE OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

2013

This thesis contains five chapters.

In the first chapter, brief history of solitary waves are given. In the second chapter , travelling waves are described.

In the third chapter chapter, some analytical methods for obtaining travelling wave solutions are analyzed.

In the fourth chapter, applications of some analytical methods are examined. In the fifth chapter, results are discussed.
