雙和醫院最新發表「抑制腫瘤指標 BTK，可提高卵巢癌化療成效」 雙和醫院婦產部主任袁九重教授與葉淇臺博士於 10 月 11 日在 「2013 年國際卵巢癌最新發展研討會」中發表，卵巢癌的新腫 瘤指標 BTK，如果使用 BTK 抑制劑，不但可抑制癌細胞的生 存，還能削弱癌細胞對化學治療的防禦力，提高治療成效。 腫瘤指標是指身體有腫瘤時，會出現 的某種特定物質，BTK 即是罹患卵巢 癌時，可被偵測出的一種成分。卵巢 上皮癌（EOC）因不易被早期發現， 一旦出現症狀才就醫，往往已經到了 後期，影響治療成效，也容易有復發 及轉移的情形，被稱為無聲殺手，如 何提早發現及治療卵巢上皮癌已成為 全球該方面領域醫學界致力的重點。 【圖：袁九重主任在研討會中指出，上皮癌是致命的婦科癌症】 在癌症死亡原因中，卵巢癌是奪走女 性生命的元兇，台灣每 10 萬名女性人 口的死亡率，已從 30 年前的 1.2 提升 到現在的 6.39，成長達 5 倍以上，更 突顯卵巢癌的危機。為加強卵巢癌的 診治成效，雙和醫院特籌辦「2013 年 國際卵巢癌最新發展研討會」，計有 來自 7 個國家 22 位博士級專家共同參 與，就卵巢癌的治療及研究進行討 論。（文/雙和醫院）【圖：2013 年國際卵巢癌最新發展研討會邀請到 7 國、22 位 博士級專家參會】
