Abstract
Prenatal education classes were important for couples of waiting baby. It was more important for Turkey where increased elective cesarean section and made inefficient pregnant education. The purpose of this article was to discuss about effects of
prenatal education classes to the pregnancy, birth and postpartum. This article will be lead nurses and researchers. There was a lot of studies about effects of prenatal education classes to the pregnancy, birth and postpartum. It was found that prenatal classes positive effects on health behaviours during pregnancy, relationship with the partner, maternal attachment, self-esteem during birth, anxiety, postpartum social support and breastfeeding. But few studies had high evidence level. That's why it was need more studies with large sample and well-designed.
