ISOMERIC YIELD RATIOS OF THE REACTIONS 144SM(T,N)143M,GSM
AND 144SM(N,2N)143M,GSM

In th e p resen t w ork resu lts o f investigation o f die isom eric y ie ld ratio s reactions 144S rn(y,n)143m>gSm and 144Sm (n,2n)143m,gSm are presented. T he isom eric y ie ld ratio s w ere m easured b y th e induced rad io activ ity m ethod.
Sam ples o f natural Sm have b een irrad iated in the brem sstrahlung b eam o f th e b etatro n SB -50 o f In stitu te o f A pplied P hysics o f N atio n al U niversity o f U zbekistan in th e energy range o f 10-4-35 M eV w ith energy step o f 1 M eV. F o r 14 M eV neutron irrad iatio n w e u sed th e N G -150 n eu tro n g enerator o f In stitu te o f N u clear P hysics..
T he induced activities w ere m easured b y gam m a-spectrom eter equipped w ith a 63 cm 3 G e(L i)-sem iconductor detector. The counting system had a resolution o f ~3,5 keV fo r th e 1332 keV y-line o f “ C o.
T he y ields o f the m etastable state decays w ere evaluated b y u sin g th e 754 keV (143mSm , J"= l 1/2', T 1/2=65 s) y-rays. The y ields o f d ie ground state decays w ere evaluated b y using the 1056
keV (143gSm , J"= l/2 +, T 1/2=8,83 m ) y-rays.
The resu lts o f calculation are g iv en in th e tab le below (25-4-30 M eV ).

F or the 144Sm the resu lts are in good agreem ent w ith the date o f ref. [1] an d {2}. T he isom eric y ield ratio s o f the reaction (y, n) on 144Sm in the 25-35 M eV energy range are ob tain ed a t first, (y, n)m an d (y, n )g reactions cross section are obtained. The results are com pared w ith th e calculations m ade in the statistical F erm i-gas theory.
