Çalışma hayatı oldukça karmaşık ve değişken bir yapıya sahiptir. Gündelik yaşantımızın büyük bir kısmını bu karmaşık yapı içerisinde geçirmekteyiz. Kişiler iş yaşamının bu karmaşık yapısında her geçen gün değişik problemlerle karşı karşıya kalmaktadırlar. Bu yaşanılan problemler kişinin hem iş yaşamını hem de gündelik hayatını etkilemektedir. İşte bu yüzden çalışanların motivasyonlarını yüksek tutmak, çalışanların motivasyonunu etkileyen unsurları bilmek önemlidir. Bu araştırmadaki amaç, Belediye çalışanlarının demografik özelliklerine göre motivasyon düzeylerine etki eden faktörlerin belirlenmesi ve kurumda benzer görevlerde çalışan kadrolu- taşeron çalışanların motivasyonları üzerindeki etkinin araştırılmasıdır. Bunun için de çalışmanın kuramsal kısmında motivasyon ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Uygulama kısmı ise Bağcılar Belediyesi'nin çeşitli birimlerinde görev yapan personel üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına bakıldığında, memur ve taşeron çalışanların motivasyon algısı alt boyutlarının birbirinden farklı olduğu görülmüştür. Taşeron çalışanların kadrolu çalışanlara göre manevi yönden daha yüksek düzeyde motive olabildikleri görülmüştür. Anahtar Kelimeler: Motivasyon, Motivasyon Araçları, İş Tatmini. Working life has highly complex and changable construction. We hold large part of our daily lives in this complexity. Every single day, people are faced with various problems in this complex bussiness life. All these problems effect people's both bussiness life and social life. Thet's why, it's important to keep employees motivation high and to know the factors that effect the motivation of employees. The purpose of this research, to determine impression of municipal employee's level of motivation according to demographic characteristics and also to establish the effect on motivation of staff-subcontractor employees working on similar tasks in municipality. For this, in the theoretical part of the work, there is literature research about motivation. The application part is made on staffs who are working in various units of Bağcılar Municipality. When we consider the results of this research, there is a different motivation perception between staff and subcontractor employees. It is obvious that subcontractor employees have higher level of motivation rather than permanent staff. Key Words: Motivation, Motivation Tools, Job Satisfaction.
